In rotary compressors, and as a result of accumulated operating hours, wear occurs in the air-end (screw element) according to each manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines. To ensure optimal compressor performance, a scheduled maintenance procedure is carried out, consisting of the reconditioning or regeneration of the air-end.
