Direct expansion dryers

Direct expansion dryers offer economical and comprehensive solutions for applications ranging from dry-cleaning in automotive workshops to large-scale industrial uses such as petrochemical plants.

These dryers operate through a direct expansion refrigeration circuit that cools the surface of an evaporator through which moist compressed air passes. The air is cooled, causing the water vapor it contains to condense, which is then separated and discharged. It then passes through an air-to-air heat exchanger, where it is reheated while simultaneously cooling the incoming compressed air entering the dryer.
